Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or signing in to EloLin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and EloLin (sole proprietor).

2. What EloLin is

EloLin provides a centralised identity layer for the EloLin family of products at *.elolin.com (including testhive.elolin.com, kinmate.elolin.com, evoclaw.elolin.com, and future apps). A single EloLin account lets you sign in to any connected product.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use EloLin. If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you must be at least 16. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Account responsibility

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Do not share your account or session tokens with others.
• If you suspect unauthorised access, revoke your sessions immediately from /profile/sessions and contact us.
• We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to secure your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use EloLin only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, abuse, scraping, and automated account creation.

6. Service availability

EloLin is provided on a best-effort basis at no charge. We do not guarantee uptime or availability. There is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) for free-tier users.

7. Free-tier limits

EloLin runs on infrastructure with the following practical limits (subject to change as our platform grows):

• Up to 50,000 monthly active users (Supabase free tier limit)
• Up to 4 Magic Link emails per hour per project
• Database and storage subject to Supabase free-tier quotas

Exceeding these limits may result in temporary service degradation. We will upgrade infrastructure as the platform grows.

8. Intellectual property

The EloLin brand, logo, design, and code are owned by EloLin. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as your bio). By submitting it, you grant EloLin a limited licence to display it within the service.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data. It forms part of these Terms.

10. Termination

• By you — you may delete your account at any time via your profile page (deletion feature in progress; email us to request early deletion).
• By EloLin — we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice.

11. Disclaimers

EloLin is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EloLin's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of:

• $0 for free-tier users, or
• the total amount you paid to EloLin in the twelve months preceding the claim (for any future paid tier).

EloLin is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EloLin and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will notify you within the app. Your continued use of EloLin after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established (to be determined — the operator will update this clause with the applicable jurisdiction and venue).

16. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EloLin regarding the service.
